Mixing audio for video – Sound effects
The music and voice-over now sound great. Next it’s time to focus one of the best parts of the mixing process. At least in my opinion! I’m talking about adding sound effects to the video.
Keep in mind that this is not always necessary. Adding a big ‘whoosh’ sound to every transition is often just a distraction. But with good sound design you can control the viewer’s focus and lead it to the points in the video you want to draw attention to.
